You'll need to place all utility accounts in your name following the lease signing. Remember, you are responsible for keeping your accounts current throughout the duration of your stay.
Move-out Checklist
Notice of Intent to Vacate
Planning to move at the end of your lease? Refer to the terms and conditions outlined in your lease to understand your legal move-out date. You'll also need to provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises.
Property Condition
Before you hand in the keys for your property, please make sure you take care of the following:
- ❯ Rental Cleaning: You'll need to carefully clean every room in your rental property, removing all of your belongings from the home. Dispose of trash as necessary, carefully wipe down all hard surfaces, and clean floors.
- ❯ Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you have outdoor spaces where you typically address landscaping chores like mowing and weeding, please take care of these chores once more before vacating.
- ❯ Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, please take the necessary steps to repair this damage. This includes patching nail and screw holes, repainting discolored walls, and replacing broken glass.
Security Deposit
Your security deposit covers potential damage inside your rental home during your stay. It cannot be used to cover your final rent payment.
After vacating the premises, we will conduct a final inspection and schedule repairs for any damage identified. Expenses for such repairs will be deducted from your security deposit.
